The team
The latter part of 2021 saw the establishment of Hounds & Heritage Weddings, which emerged after the decision to separate from a nine-year-old pet care enterprise, with the primary objective of focusing exclusively on weddings.
Hounds & Heritage is currently independently owned and operated by Jemma Cox, who has 12 years of experience in pet care and 6 years of experience in wedding events.
Jemma has been caring for dogs professionally since she was 16 years old, and has prior experience in the hospitality industry as a wedding and events coordinator. She began her professional journey as a dog walker, which subsequently grew to include several branches throughout the United Kingdom.
Over the years she has provided valuable guidance and design services to other individuals looking to establish their own businesses, while simultaneously maintaining her own successful enterprise.

We all go through difficult times in life, and I am no exception.
Dogs have been quite possibly the only thing that has genuinely made me happy (aside from meeting my husband, and having kids). They have brought me through some truly dark moments, especially when I found life difficult to navigate.
To spend every day with them and call it my livelihood is almost like being in a dream. I wouldn't change it for the world.

Chloe joined the Hounds & Heritage team in August 2023. She brings a wealth of combined expertise from both the wedding and pet care industries to HHW.
In 2020, she founded the acclaimed Fairytale Fittings', a reputable dress fitting service, and then in 2021, she launched 'Chloes K9 Kingdom', a dog daycare facility situated in Cambuslang.
Chloe is a devoted dog owner to Kilo, Kali, and Kingston, her three-year-old Chow Chows.

Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. Their unconditional love and companionship bring so much joy and happiness to people's lives. Being able to work with them and ensure their well-being is truly fulfilling for me. For these reasons, I dropped out of university and started working with animals. I have over 3 years experience of dog walking, pet sitting & doggy daycare! Plus, who can resist those adorable wagging tails and wet nose boops? I am only 24 and have 3 dogs of my own… I am crazy, I know

He brings a wealth of expertise to the team, particularly from his experiences in the British Army, and having being a dog owner himself.
Jamie wishes to one day to run his own Dog Hotel, and had his own dogs at his wedding; A rottweiler, Czechoslovakian wolf dog and a border collie.

I have always had a passion for dogs and find their companionship and various capabilities fascinating. I am ex military and worked as a dog handler before leaving the army and now working with civilian dogs, I am qualified as a military and civilian protection dog handler, I am certified in Canine first aid and Canine nutrition, I make a variety of treats for my own pet dogs, with the aim to make sure every treat has nutritional value, but also is a high value reward for the dog and keeps them coming back for more.
I am currently studying towards my degree as a Canine behaviourist and have a specific interest in behaviour modification, I get an unmatched sense of satisfaction and pride when people see the changes in a reactive dog.
